I've just installed firmware version 303, the new one with S*ca2 emu. Problem is the channels in the D+ package don't clear.
Are the keys included in the firmware or do they need to be added?? How do you get to the emu menu?? Also, does the card have to taken out to watch emu'd channels??

I tried 3.03 yesterday out of curiousity in an 1105, and D+ worked immediately.
The keys are under the menu item "No smartcard inserted" IIRC. So haven't tried to insert a card. But you shouldn't have to edit keys for D+ right now anyway.
When zapping to a Dutch channel, the receiver always freezes and needs a power-off/on.
The x-cam, and now also MR, are faster and more stable with zapping. I always use firmware 4.15 on my Deltasat (see other thread, it's also good for 1105).
But for those without a cam, the 3.03 is a nice surprise!

I'm trying it in the 1104. Should work as well though should'nt it??

Emu doesn't work with this file in the 1104. And the internal smartcard reader becomes irdeto only with it. If you only have an 1104, a MR is a good choise (for now...)

the 3.03 is only for conax models 1105+1106 you
may have missed to read what you downloaded ?
suddenly the matrix cam with mr1080 is actually
opening also spanish package on astra without
card.
those models 1105+1106 also working for polsat,
with 3.00 firmware polsat were freezing. if you
go to any channel, which the unit doesn´t support
with its emu, it can freeze, anyway now you can edit
within latest firmware 3.03 the seca2 keys and
thats really great !

If understand new patchs 1105-1106 are not compatible with the DS1104 !?
Can the experts they say to us if a new patch for the DS1104 is
envisaged in the next days?
(Do I have to plan to resell this demodulator? It is a pity really for
a still recent receiver!)
Please, Can you explain, If nothing is envisaged, why the owners of a DS1104, could not profit from the evolutions of the last patchs (emu seca2)?
