What is the best patch 1.23 or 1.24 working whit usals??

Hi,
usals is well implemented in 1.24 but motor does not turn when satellite is changed by channel selection. Also other users complained.
Therefore I use 1.23 where it hangs once in a while but going via an "intermediate" satellite gets the motor rotating.
