May be the problem is the Irdeto CI embedded??
May be with 1103 XCAM should be OK?

X-cam works great here in the 1103! In a few days I'll also have my 1104 back but I'd be surprised if it wouldn't work in there.
I use firmware 4.15 (so no patch), that might also make the difference.

I think the problem is to initialize the CAM for the first time.
XCAM already initialize with another DEC should work correctly in 1104.
Pls let me know if you have initialize XCAM for the first time with 1103 or not.
May be 4.15 disable the embedded Irdeto CAM in 1104??

With initialize do you mean loading the soft to the X-cam? I got it already loaded with 1.04t so no experience about that yet. Otherwise, I see the 'initializing CAM' message for about 10 seconds just like any other CAM.
So again in a few days I'll see how it works with the 1104 (I think it has 1.24 firmware at the moment).

I mean loading software in a cam without software at all, a virgin one.
With 1104 it is no possible and now I can confirm that it is not possible even with 1103!

dear magog,
on the board inside the machine you can find a jumper,
that will allow you to disable detection of the irdeto cardreader
after reset.
otherwise you should try different software solutions, besides
you need no patch version if you use the x-cam, but anyway
as far as I know the 4.15 disable only uhf-modulator, not the
internal cam.

Now I think problem could be not the internal irdeto cam but the cam always powered.
